History

A Tirana-based software company built to last—through the work it takes on, and the products it keeps.

Cadmus was founded in Tirana to build the kind of software company its founders once wished existed in Albania: one that treats local constraints as design inputs, builds durable systems rather than disposable projects, and makes consequential technical work possible without leaving home.

The company began with client work and internal products in parallel. That dual path remains intentional. Client engagements fund and sharpen judgment; owned products and ventures compound what Cadmus learns into lasting capability.

Cadmus is an Albanian software company focused on aiding & elevating the local environment. We believe even small places deserve serious infrastructure, and that talent should not have to leave home to make consequential progress.

We care less about titles and rigid hierarchies than curiosity, good judgement and a willingness to take responsibility. The people closest to a problem should have room to solve it.

Some of our work begins with a client, and some are born within the company. In both cases, we aim to bring to life a product that is useful, well made and built to last.

Every project begins with the work as it actually happens: the people involved, the decisions they make, the tools they depend on and the points where progress breaks down.
